Our Groomer Utilizes Natural Shampoos

We bathe each dog in a specialty shampoo to maximize the health and appearance of the dogs coat and skin. Shampoo selection includes but isn’t limited to:

  • Deep Cleaning shampoo
  • Scent of the Month shampoos: mild, fresh scents that restores moisture, shine and softness.
  • Includes matching cologne spray
  • Brightening shampoo: brightens and enhances the coats of white and black dogs
  • Medicated and Anti-Itch shampoos: Help relieve itching from dandruff, seborrhea and hot spots.

* Use of each shampoo is based on your dog’s needs and is included in the price of grooming.

* We offer (additional charge) colloidal oatmeal shampoo and conditioners for dogs with skin problems as well as a flea/tick shampoo that is gentle and effective in eliminating those pesky pests.

Offering Coat Conditioning

Each dog receives a coat conditioner. This leave-on spray conditioner is applied after towel drying to reduce static and frizz. It helps restore moisture and cuts drying and brushing time in half as well as provide extra conditioning, detangling, manageability, softness and shine!

Depend on Us for Anal Gland Expression

This is an important part of grooming and one for which many groomers charge extra or omit. Expression of the anal glands helps reduce pressure on the anal opening, thus eliminating scooting due to the discomfort of full glands. Additionally, expression helps reduce the chance of the glands’ becoming infected or abscessing.

Providing Mini Health Screening

We aren’t qualified to diagnose or treat any canine injury or illness, to the extent that our education and experience allows, each dog groomed is examined for any health-related abnormalities. Each dog’s eyes, ears, teeth, toenails, pads, anal glands, skin, and genitals are checked. If something is concerning, you will be notified via the pet checklist when picking up and recommended to seek veterinary evaluation and treatment.
